We filed a claim when my husband broke his tooth. I, myself have had a broken tooth covered by combined before. Combined denied my husbands claim stating first my dentist didn't supply the right info. After weeks of run around, my dentist got frustrated trying to deal with them. When they finally did receive the info requested, Combined tried to say the claim was now being denied for a different reason. When I asked for "proof" of reason for denial I was referred to my policy. When I read my policy word for word, it said we should be covered for the broken tooth. Still denied. When asked why, they gave a totally different reason. When again asked for proof, they said they didn't have any...and didn't include the words in the policy because they couldn't possibly include all scenarios.

Bottom line is we were denied a claim for something super simple and something we had previously been able to be paid for but now every time we call, we get a completely different reason for denial but NONE of those reasons can be supported by the policy.

Basically they just continue to give us the run around and make stuff up as they go along. We USED to have zero issues with Combined and told everyone we knew to sign on as we belong to a huge group of self-employed business owners but lately every single claim we've filed has been difficult and the representatives we talk to are rude and not at all helpful. I think they are allowed to make up whatever reasons they want to and don't support it or can't prove it because they don't include any detailed writing in the policy.

COMBINED INSURANCE IS A RIP OFF AND SOMETHING I WILL NEVER SUPPORT OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE EVERY AGAIN!!! AS A MATTER OF FACT, I WILL GO OUT OF MY WAY TO TELL EVERYONE WHO WILL LISTEN HOW FAKE THEY ARE AND HOW THEY SCAM THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!
