I have worked as an agent for Combined Insurance for 4 years now. IAM not the type of person who works for a company that is fraudulent or does not do what they say there going to do. Insurance can be frustrating and confusing at times, and this is the reason all...

I signed up for the paid plus policy in April, was not told that it can take up to three weeks for plan to be active. I was under the impression as of 05012018 that I had an active plan. May 05 2018 went to ER Sad , which was a seriously matter. Had surgery May 24...

Combined Insurance Medical Claim
Reason of review
Problems with payment
The company collects premiums from supplemental insurance programs such as a "Hero Plan" but makes the claims process so inconvenient it's not worth completing the process. Every attempt to resolve a claim is meeting with some request of obscure documentation that is...

I worked for combined insurance for 5 years, including over 2 years as a TM,your experience with Combined Insurance will really depend of how good is your representative, unfortunatly due to the high turn over of the company, it's really rare to find experienced sales rep in the field besides the Territory Manager.

Combined Claim process can be very easy if you understand what the claim adjuster needs, for a regular hospital stay, outpatient surgery or disability, a claim form need to be completed front by you and back by the doctor and join it your itemized bill, outpatient procedure report or note from doctor.

Doctor visit or ER discharge paper are normaly enough for a plain ER visit or doctor visit with a description of your accident or your sickness.Always send it in registered mail and copy everything.

As far as the call center, yes some of them are extremly unpleasant even to those who work for combined Ins,mainly due to the fact that a lot of them are now external to the company since combined is contracting call center for them for the past 2 years.

and to finish about your issue with cancelation, which i encountered more times than i can count in the field, 2 things:

-always write down the name, time and day you called.

-every calls are recorded

which in case the customer service person didn't do their job properly , you can indicate who made the mistake and when it happened and they will be able to pull the tape.

then they will have to refund you all the premium they took out since the day you called and stop the draft from your account.

Hope that helped :)
