I have been with Combined Insurance for many years and as of 1/10/2025 I cancelled my policies due to the fact that this company is a Scam! I was completely disappointed with their service, I filed a claim for an outpatient surgery that I had in November 2024 and didnt receive any response of denial January 10th 2025, received a from the adjuster who was trying to find reasons why my claim didnt qualify, I sent all the information from my doctor and everything they asked for but was still not enough!
So after all these years with this company I decided to cancel all 3 policies! And never recommend that anyone buy into this Scam!
Combined you got my money enjoy it because youll never get my business again and never will I recommend your company to anyone again! And tell everyone that I know that has any policies with your company just how you guys operate!!!

I have a cancer policy that I've had since 2006. This company is a joke!
The website is a joke! It takes 30 minutes on the phone to get a person. I have stage 4 cancer. It took 2 months to get a payment.
After that, it took 2 months to get another payment of only $150. I send everything they ask for. Payments have stopped. Their response is always the same!
This process has taken too long and I will email the claims department. I get zero responses every time!

Somebody else run in the damn place ive been paying into a policy for well over 20 years probably and now its time to collect and every time it there two months behind they dont even know what the *** theyre doing if the fight with them constantly

Talk about insurance fraud. The adjusters have no education on medical record knowledge.
They do not even need a high school education to work for the company.
The company should be reported to the attorney general's office. They take your money but never pay the amount you were owed.

COMBINED INSURANCE IS THE WORST!! JUST CANCELED MULTIPLE POLICIES WITH THEM YESTERDAY.
I'VE BEEN WITH THEM FOR OVER 10 YEARS. I'VE BEEN OUT ON DISABILITY SINCE MARCH 2024 BUT THEY REFUSED TO PAY UP ON MY POLICIES UNLESS I PRESENT THEM WITH A LETTER SAYING THAT I WAS DENIED BENEFITS FROM WORKER'S COMP. I TOLD THEM MULTIPLE TIMES THAT I NEVER APPLIED BECAUSE I HAVE DISABILITY INSURANCE WITH THEM. IT'S BEEN OVER 18 MONTHS AND STILL WAITING.
I HAD 2 DISABILITIES AND 2 ACCIDENTAL ADDING UP TO 3,600 DOLLARS MONTHLY . I CANCELED THEM YESTERDAY BECAUSE I REFUSED TO GIVE THEM ANYMORE OF MY MONEY FOR FREE

An account was opened fraudulently that fameadvice.com is the billing company. After contacting them 7 times via various methods, they have said that the subscription being billed for has been canceled, assured me that no further charges will attempted , and the situation is resolved...
yet 8 more attempts have been made by them to charge various amounts have been made in the last 4 days, of which the last 2 of the charges attempted were made 2 hours prior to while I was actually talking to them & the cherry on top was literally during our conversation about the situation while they were assuring me that they were not charging me any longer.. mind you the whole account was fraudulent and I was continously billed for 5.5 weeks so far after I reported this to them and authorities. Smh.
You can only chat with support 24/7 , send an email which you are supposed to receive a response within 12-24 hours and most issues are resolved within 12 hours( which i sent 3 and have yet to get a response...and it has been over a month since i sent the 1st email), or by phone that I have never been able to speak to anyone just sit on hold forever and ever only to get recording saying they are only available m-f 8-5 eastern time * which all of the calls I made were during those hours *
This has got to be the absolute worst company I have ever had the unpleasant opportunity to deal with!! If I could give them negative stars it would be -100+

Had left knee claim paid in May of 2023.
Hurt right knee in Oct 2023 and had to have surgery on it. Sent all information requested.
You can never talk to a person who is actually in charge of your claim.
6 months of runaround is just ridiculous.

False Advertisement
Had this SDI for a few years. Was in unexpected accident that caused me 2 be off of work.
I figure let me fill out these forms & give my DRs there portion. Uploaded it was told the process & if need be repeat the process 4 continue claim. Exposure of this company came 2 light. Was told the adjuster would call, if need be.
But claims c/s & claims resolution all reviewed & stated all is needed was turned n. Plus they asked the necessary questions. 1 month is now turning into 2 months. U call, ask questions they have every excuse on need this time & that time 2 complete it.
Liars. By this time I reached out 2 the sales rep agent that sold it. Now, they know nothing, don't know how the process goes & etc. This is the same person that said alert him if & when I do a claim & he can assist with a smooth process.
Liar. Then 4 whatever reason some wayward shady siu investigator, reaches out "phone & email." She demonstrated herself as a liar, hippa & privacy violations. You ask her question & she lied on doing extensive investigation on anyone putting a claim in. Really, because that's just bogus in itself.
She stated my claim wasn't fully completed. Which was a lie. The claim documents are/were completed the right way. Come 2 find out this is there motive on not paying out claims, unbeknownst 2 myself.
They are a scam, ponzi/pyramid scheme. Collect our money with no intentions on a payout. Those that have gotten there claim paid congrats on that. What's also a red flag, they all bash there competitor's.
If they don't have physical advertisements of any sorts, not the place 2 do business with. We need visibility. Pure trash mentality & they will continue 2 try & go into your account 2 steal your money.
Go where you & your dollars matter. Cancel ASAP.

Giving a feedback on claim
I never write reviews, but recently, an agent recommended that I write down a review as I had a positive experience, so here I am.
I have been their client for a year and recently, I was hospitalized due to an accident on my way home. I was denied insurance from the company as it was not in place, but I did receive the supplemental payout of 4400.
The agent was indeed pretty helpful; however, upon request to fill out the claim form, he declined to do so, and I eventually had to fill it out myself. He did help with some suggestions

- It took 12 days to reimburse

I have been with combined for almost 30 years and never a issue. Now we have issues.
Im not going to sit down and fill out 11 pages of stuff and give it to doctors. The old forms was a front and back, thats it, nothing more. I told a supervisor that it was easy when I was single mom but now being old with this insurance is a nightmare. I have 5 policies, so you think they would be concerned, I guess they don't care about customers anymore.
Furthermore, I feel if a company is going to be sold, that consumers should be warned and given a chance to look into the company.
Picture below will show a front and back ,1 pg for a claim, now they want people who are sick, and doctors that are over worked to fill out 11 pages for 1 small claim. That's half of a tree.
Does not make sense. They try to convince me it's the same thing, bull, if it is go back to the 1 page.
